Learners from Elm Class at The Rowan School enjoyed a memorable and well-deserved reward visit on Wednesday 25th March, following a fantastic half term of hard work and achievement.
The group visited Dudley Zoo, where they spent the day exploring and learning about a wide variety of animals. Learners were particularly excited to see the animals up close and were proud to share the fascinating facts they had learned throughout the visit.
Despite a sudden hail shower during the trip, spirits remained high. Learners embraced the moment with enthusiasm, singing and dancing as they made their way to the lunch area. The day ended on a warm and comforting note, with hot chocolate enjoyed back at school.
The visit formed part of The Rowan School’s commitment to celebrating learner achievements and providing enriching experiences beyond the classroom, supporting both personal development and engagement with the wider world.
Snita Verma, Principal of The Rowan School, said:
“We are incredibly proud of our Elm Class learners and all they have achieved this half term. Reward visits like this are a wonderful way to celebrate their efforts while also creating meaningful learning experiences. It was fantastic to see their curiosity, resilience and joy throughout the day.”
