Learners from Maple Class at Rowan School were recently rewarded with a special trip to Dudley Zoo, following their consistently positive behaviour and excellent attitude towards their learning.
The trip was chosen by the learners themselves, making the experience even more meaningful and exciting. Throughout the day, learners explored the zoo, taking in the wide variety of animals and enjoying the opportunity to learn outside of the classroom in a fun and engaging environment.
Among the highlights of the visit were the vibrant and colourful macaw birds, which captured the learners’ attention, as well as the ever-popular meerkats, who proved to be a firm favourite. The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for learners to observe animals up close while developing their curiosity and appreciation for the natural world.
Staff were particularly impressed with how learners conducted themselves throughout the trip. Their behaviour, enthusiasm, and respect for both the environment and each other made the day a true success.
