About The Rowan School

Our School

The Rowan School is a Special Educational Needs school based in Coseley, Dudley. We work with a number of Local Authorities including but not limited to, Dudley, Sandwell, Staffordshire, Wolverhampton, Walsall, and Birmingham.

The school supports learners aged 5-11 years with a wide range of additional needs, including Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Social and Emotional Mental Health, and Sensory and Physical.

We are extremely proud of our school and committed to providing the very best possible education for all of our children. We recognise that it is important for children to feel safe within a happy and stimulating environment and our nurturing approach is centred around this.

At our school, we believe in the value and importance of building positive trusting relationships with children to gain a deep understanding of each learner’s needs. This enables us to provide individually tailored provision which facilitates and supports each child’s unique way of learning.

To complement our curriculum offer we offer a wide range of enrichment activities which are key to enhancing the learning experience for children, but also offer opportunities for new experiences children might not otherwise benefit from.

We work in close partnership with parents and their feedback reports that learners make rapid progress at our school. Children excel in the development of their social skills at The Rowan School. At all times, they are supported and encouraged to make decisions which will impact them positively in terms of their relationships with other children and adults.

Our team are highly skilled, and are committed to working positively with each and every child to ensure they are able to reach their potential.
