Rowan School Learners Take Part in RSPB Birdwatch Week

This term, all learners at Rowan School joined in the RSPB Birdwatch Week, taking the opportunity to connect with nature and learn more about local wildlife. Many learners took home a bird-spotting activity and quiz, and staff were delighted by the number of children who enthusiastically completed the tasks over the weekend.

In addition to spotting birds, learners got creative by designing and making their own birdhouses, which will soon be placed around the school grounds. The birdhouses are already looking fantastic and will help support local bird populations while showcasing the learners’ creativity.

Principal Snita Verma said:

“It’s wonderful to see our learners so engaged with the natural world. Activities like the RSPB Birdwatch help children develop curiosity, responsibility, and a love for wildlife.”
